For too long has Murdoch been pushed into obscurity, disregarded, undermined by the giants that are UWA, Curtin and ECU. "You mean, like, the one with the farms and stuff?" people would cry. It was a dark time for Murdochites. A dark, dark time.
BUT NO LONGER!! Like a phoenix rising out of the ashes, there came a saviour! Our hero had finally arrived, to lead us through the parched desert of minority and into the spotlight! What is this pheonix, you may ask. What could possibly dredge the reputation of our fine centre of learning up from the muddy bottoms and back to the surface?
Well here's what can. H. V. Z.

What is HvZ? Standing for 'Humans Vs. Zombies', the game originated at Goucher College, Baltimore in 2005. Humans vs. Zombies is a survival game of tag, where "human" players fight off increasingly large numbers of "zombies"; if a human is "turned" (i.e. tagged), then that player becomes a zombie in turn. The humans can defend themselves using weapons such as balled up socks, foam swords and foam dart guns (i.e. NERF guns). Zombies are unarmed. The goal of a human is to stay human for as long as possible. He or she does this by being a total badass/ensuring that they do not get tagged by a zombie. The goal of a zombie is to infect as many humans as they possibly can by tagging them, with the end goal of infecting all of the humans.

Try forgetting about us when we're up to our eyeballs in the blood and guts of our former friends (sic. no actual blood and guts involved). Try forgetting about us when we struggle for our very survival. Try forgetting about us as we face extinction.
Foam will fly.
